according to my haynes manual, the press tool can be replaced with a "large bench device and spacers" and "large sockets" which i have :) | |

ive never had to use a press when removing front bearings. I used the outer part of an old bearing ground-down and used that to tap the bearing out and to tap the new one back in. | |

if you want to do it the cheepest way, take your stearing knuckle off, and just get a machanic to press old baring out, put new one it. | |

not really difficult to change but as said you will need a press and possibly some circlip pliers. | |

both my front wheel bearing need changing, are these expensive from vauxhall and hard to fit at all?? |
