Does the 1.0L have an ICV - from the Haynes book it only talks about an IDLE SPEED CONTROL MOTOR?????????/ | |

I'd suggest you clean the Idle control valve out it's possible a bit sticky and isn't abel to react fast enough to sort the idle out. | |

When the revs fall to 'idle' i.e. no accln. the tickover dips low, splutters and then recovers to a fairly steady tick over. The final tickover speed is fine once it has recovered - rather lumpy til it does recover. |
