haha im getting this one too causes the car to idle and practically stop when i stop at junctions :lol: i fitted the C16XE engine with gsi clocks (out of 93 L reg GSi) with my old cable but their not working for some reason and yeh their plugged up both ends :boggle:

ive fitted an X16XE engine and gearbox from a 2000 corsa into my 1995 gsi.

i also fitted a set of electronic speedo clocks and a electronic gearbox sender.

(the old gsi clocks were cable driven with the vehicle speed sender in the back of the clocks)

wired the gearbox sender as follows...........
black: ignition switched 12+
brown: vehicle earth
red/blue: to pin d10 on the ecu (red/blue wire)

problem is im getting a fault code for no vehicle speed sender (causing poor idle and stalling when clutch is pressed) and speedo clocks arnt working.

any ideas anyone :boggle:
