so i will need to wire the red/blue wire into the clocks, then to the ecu? | |

I am pretty sure the cable driven clocks have a vehicle speed sender built in to the speedo head which provides the signal to the ECU. When you put in the new clocks this signal will come from the gearbox sender to the clocks and then to the ECU so I think it will still work OK with what you are palnning. | |
