like greasemonkey said braker bar on jam it on the floor n crack it with the starter but not with belt off n its a normal right hand thred :thumbs: | |

doesnt the bottom pulley unbolt like the XE without having to undo the crank bolt? | |

i put a tool through the holes in the pulley on to the torx screw located behind the pulley, and simply used that to stop it from turning, | |

my old 8v was a reverse thread, did that about a dozen times! | |

if that fails, stick a bar on it and crank the engine on the starter, DONT do it if cam belt is off though, and watch out for the bar flying off hurting some on or ya car | |

put the car in 5th gear get someone to stand on the break then get you socket and racket with big bar on it and it will open...:) | |

8v sri cant undo the crankshaft pulley bolt its tight as fuck. |
