a little screw that is on the side of the throttle body, adjusts where the linkage stops, check and see if the butterfly is closed whilst at rest

as for pics... if your car has one its immediately obvious what its for and what it is... i don have a camera at the moment

stop screw? any pics? checked/rechecked the inelt/tb so many times cant find any fault. its seems to idle at constant level now but how can i get it to idle at 900 instead of 1250rpm? is there nothing i can adjust?

ohh and no ECU light comes on any more. just revs all over place. will it pass MOT?

do you think new ICV will sort it, rather than second hand ones?

ok refitted/tried 2 Idle control motors, checked/fixed air leak on inlet but my car still idles like shit after bout 5-10mins idling. it goes upto 1800rpm but never below 1000rpm what else could it be?

would the unichip cause it to not rev below 1000rpm?

also recently had cambelt fitted could it be incorrectly tensioned causing this idle problem?

what else should i try?

help plz its drinking all my fuel idling like this and sounds like i wanna race everyone:o:(
