I know theres a lot to read.....but i got mine sorted. mines a 1999 gls. it ended up being the someting Laminate. i'll find out exactly but it cost about £200 ish to repair.

I had this before and I had to get a new EGR Valve and Idle Air Control Valve. The problem has come back again. Does it but out when slowing down?

vacuum pipes, check the ones goin to the MAP sensor (3pin green plug in the middle of the engine bay) and cam cover hoses etc

In my gfs 1.2 club the car is chugging when she takes of, when it does go it only goes so far then chuggs and the eml comes on!! Any ideas
