Hi greebo2 thanx for the comments, just needs lowering now.I got my egr valve for £94 + vat & del so £120 from http://www.autovaux.co.uk :thumbs:that company is excellent for service, hope u get yours sorted. | |

thanx for the pics I see what you mean bad news though as I really wanted to block it off because the bloody thing keeps getting blocked up with carbon and they want some massive price for a new one. How much did yours cost? Did you try cleaning it instead of replacing it? | |

i have a 12v and i replaced my egr valve and i dont think you can block them off as u would lose all the water out of the engine mate, look in my garage for pics of the egr valve and u will see what i mean.It bolts on and there is a big hole when u take it off as the water goes into the internals of the egr valve.Hope this helps:thumbs: | |

Shouldnt cause any problems. I will cheque to see if they are the same as the 1.4/1.6 engines for the blanking plate | |
