taking it outs not the problem, its getting it back in without fucking the paint and getting loads of squeeks.

i've not put the dash back in so wouldnt know about difficulty on re-fitting, but here is latest pic, i'm re-doing all wiring so is why its been removed

wiper motor & scuttle is pish to remove & refit though!

think the biggest problem you will have when re-fitting the dash will be trying to get all the wiring to fit as it was before you removed it,

yah the wiper has 3 bolts on it under the scuttle then un-clip the wiring ant the motor will cumout u will then c the bolts behind it

combat_sri

is that hard to take out then? will it go back easy enough?!

MC Kustoms

posted on 31st Jan 04 at 13:52

to get the full dash out u will have to m8 as there r 4-5 bolts behind the the wiper motor

combat_sri

fuckin hell! that looks complicated!
at the moment i have all the bits like the mfd, centre console, glovebox, vents out, just not too keen about taking the scuttle and wiper motor out!

MC Kustoms

my corsa van looks like that bloody mess but well worth it

PaulW

remove steering wheel
remove dials
remove center console
remove all switches n such
remove glove box & all air ducts
remove ashtray
unscrew fuse box, all wiring harnesses & any other screws you find
open bonnet
remove scuttle
remove wiper motor & mechanism
undo all bolts within bulkhead
back in car
just keep pulling now if all bolts are undone, it will come out
just takes time like adam says

and this is what it will look like once you've removed it

you feeling brave??

Adam-D

posted on 31st Jan 04 at 13:34

not hard just a matter of lots and lots of unscrewing stuff
takes a little time
