im doin this with footwell neons im just gonna disconnect the interior light and use its wiring

where is the door switch wire?

Otherway round mate, one connected to a permanent live, and another connected to the door switch (door switch is a ground remember) :thumbs:

peice off pish, wiring that is, one wire connected to earth, other to the door switch. door opens, light comes on.

alright, wen i put my sterio in i had to take my ashtray out coz it wouldnt fit in **dont ask me y i tried everything** so i covered the hole up with a bit ov mesh. so what i want to do is wire a light up that comes on when the interior light come on when u open the door etc... n e ideas n e 1 how to do it???
