i bought it with the engine conversion already done. i bought the car last friday but the conv was done about a yr ago | |

yer, if u payed that sort of high money for a courtney conversion and it comes with a cracked exhaust manifold then send it back they should get a new 1 or repair it | |

they charge 3500 alone for the conversion including engine. lump was in when i got the car | |

What did you get for your 3500 notes square? c20xe, f20? sus and brakes? | |

I think its the same bore as standard but different lengths, meant to give 5-10bhp and a bit more torque. | |

the manifolds which come on the early GTE's were stainless steel(i think!) apparently. When they get hot, they go purple! Lee was saying about it earlier on. | |

Stainless doesn't need tig welding. You can use mig, I believe powerflow use mig welds. | |

u can gte janspeed mild steel ones which are aprently identical to lexmaul ones but not stailess steel and they can be cut and welded easier as stainless steel requires a TIG welder i do belive? What ever manifold you buy it will have to be shortejnded and the flange cut and re welded on to join your CAT or existing system :) | |

yer SBD manifolds are around the 300+ mark, tho because there grp A manifolds ull need a grp A exhaust system too | |

got my 2l corsa on friday,couple of things need sorting on it. one of the probs is the manifold has cracked and i need a bit of help with it. |
