as the corbmeister said.. use sealed.. I have had both ported and sealed boxes and found that i prefer the sealed types. | |

Sealed boxes are smaller and more suitable to dance type music, where its more tight punchy bass which you're after. | |

think sealed will give a more defined sound in the bass. Port will produce more volume and deepen the bass, but the sound will be slightly more 'loose'. | |

i think a sealed (enclosed) box would give more heavy bass but if your happy with the sound your getting at the moment just stick with the ported but bear in mind ported box's need to be made slightly bigger | |

so sealed is better? cos ive got 2 alpine typr s's in twon ported boxes and i wanted to know if they would sound better in a sealed box? | |
