right first clean the caliper up with brake cleaner and wire brush
take out piston clean this and thwe piston housing

take both seals completely off outer and inner make sure piston is clean and housing smear some brake fluid onto inner seal and piston
insert inner seal and then put outer seal onto the piston but not on the piston groove

insert the back of outer seal into piston houseing all the way round then slowly ease psiton onto the housing twist it a bit and with a bit of force it shud slowly go in once halway in push the outer edge of outer seal onto the piston then with a g clamp fully insert it

just gota fit em now

ffs second set of seals and there still the wrong ones ! getting pissed off now

:) gdgd. its defo worth doing this, i think one of my current calipers has seized up as i have very uneven braking and the car bolts sidways, good job ive got these new brakes :)

right ive got the pistons out
2 ways
1 find a bolt that threads into the back of the caliper and slowly wind it it pushing the piston out

or
2 get a thick rod inset into the hole and hit it with a hammer< this is what i did it worked i havent damaged the piston but with newer brakes it may damage them

all i gotta do is clean em up put new seals in and then fit them

aint got a vice no more?

ill see how it goes failing that ill tek em to a garage to free the pistons then piss off n finish the job meself

my dad says you have to blow the piston out with an airline, that makes it a million times easier.

ive got em but havent done it yet, been too busy with work.

oh and if it aint on car how the fook do i get the dam piston to move?

on the piston itself? or it just sits behind the rubber dust seal

where does the o ring go?

i have, but only one one side

reason is they cost a small fortune for what they are and i ripped the 1st one, lost my rag with it as they are very hard to do (at least i thought so) so i left the 2nd one

the O rings are more important i think, the outter is just a dust cover

the rubber dust seal around the caliper piston on ate brake calpiers


ive got new seals
there is to bits one looks like the outer bit im guessing you have to strech it on
and the other is a thin o ring type seal where does this go??
