Halfords is cellulose based paint which will do a good enough job if you're carefull.

wt paint is the stuf from halfords, or what can you buy from halfords to do it?

They don't get that hot. Certainly not hot enough to upset the paint - so long as you use 2k or cellulose paint and not acrylic.

In regards to heat etc, im nto sure how the paint would stand up to the heat, but you could always use heat proof paint (as used on engine covers etc)

any recomendation on using rattle cans maybe? i know they get hot and I dont want the paint to peel.

Isit a primer, colour, laquer job?
