water temps wont really be a problem as your getting in enough air to the rad to cool.

oil temps will be getting high if you are nailing it for a while.... but i think your tyres (if road) and brakes (if not decent fluid.pads/discs) will have gone off before it reaches anything to be concerned about.

optimum running temp is 98C so the cool running stats are not always a good idea.

muppet sport did some research and found out that there not always good.

maybe adding a second fan to keep the temp at a reasonable level maybe a good idea.

Try finding one for a x16xe i cant see them anywhere.
It could do with one of those now to be honest.

fit the oil temp sensor and pressure gauge and then monitor the temp and pressure for a few days, maybe take it on a track day or for a fast run and see how it reacts.

if the readings are high or unstable then mocal do some decent oil cooling equipment for the x16xe. m-tech is the site you can get them from.

Im planning to "track" the Sport this year,

But i have one major concern.

Whilst the car is ok for periods on the road - im worried about a constant trashing for 20mins.

My main concern is oil cooling - is it possible to add an oil cooler to a x16xe or is it even nessisary?

I fancy obviously taking all precacutions to ensure the stability of the engine as its still used as a road car.

Im planning to fit - oil temp and pressure gauges so i can keep an eye on things, is there anything else to think off in the mean time?
