try the rear boot catch mounting bolt then, I have been told this is also a good earth.

mines positioned in middle so its hard to find one where its long nuff like the back seat bolt is to far

sorry, I didn't answer correctly.
I meant no, you don't need a new power cable, as you can use a distribution block to split the cable from one to two cables, i.e. the power cable running along the car goes in one end, and then two out the other, one for each amp.

I have earthed mine to a rear light cluster mounting bolt, in behind the amp rack.

1) No, you don't need a new power cable.
2) Have you got any electrics in the doors? i.e. Central locking, electric windows, electric mirrors? If so, then most people just actually drill into the door and use a new grommet. If not, then you can actually use some of the pins that are spare on your door loom plug. I personally didn't bother, and just connected the new speaker cable onto the original behind the headunit.
3) Check my avatar, or this thread or my garage for more pics.

gettin the speakers tommrow got the amp....

do i need to run another power cable?

whats the easier way to feed the wires through the door?

where can i locate the amp
