if you are going to paint the door card, then try filler. i dont know what the material is like, how thick it is.

I was taking a look in AdiSRI's garage at his door pods and that is the direction that I am wanting to take, but I will also want to cover the top half of the door cards (the fabric bit). that'll need to be covered in filler wont it?

well if you look at the corsa b door card the bottom half is plastic and the top half is fabric. im wanting to cover a portion of the fabric and was wanting to know what would be the most efective way of doing it? ta

C4 WLK- try keepin filler to a minimum. build the shape you want with fibre glass, to make it as strong as possible. quote: tis true. sold my door cards for this very reason. even though these do look ''fooking awesome'', some SRi door cards with amp'd Diamond Hex components are far better IMO

Hey Martin, if you have enough spare time could you possibly provide a semi-detailed/detailed tutorial for how you created your awesome door pods/cards. Im sure there are a few people on here who like your idea and wouldnt mind having a go themselves, including me! |
