try a "ground loop" get one from halfords. | |

its a 12v feed but doesn't supply very much current. | |

just googled it and it is definately a 12v feed | |

Ah, didnt think it would have enough to power it as I thought it was only 3v or am I getting mixed up with amps lol | |

how much power does it need?? the guy at halfords told him that it needed to be cnnected to a blue cable and i assumed this was the one. | |

The blue wire is used for he remote to the amp. I wouldnt have thought it would supply enough power to be honest. | |

My fiances dad has a rover city rover with a sony CD player in. I know that there is no problem with the CD player as i had it in my car for several months. |
