i couldn't get the top nut off the shock for sh1t( as the shock was turning with the nut) , so i brought a power wrench from argos (£15) and used that and worked a treat.

I also needed a 16mm socket/spanner for the nuts at the top of the rear strut (you wont need this if its only springs your fitting) and the 3 nuts holding the front strut onto the bulkhead were 13mm on mine. :look:

you will need spring compressors if all you have is lowering springs, if you have coilovers then you wont need the compressors

you will need:

Spring compressors
17 mm socket
17mm Ring spanner (offset type)
9mm spanner or socket
and a 12 mm spanner or socket

Then just think it through... its all self explanatory

ive just bought a -40 mm spring kit, i want to fit them myself, what tools do i need, some sort of tutorial would be handy?
