do you have a induction kit, i has the 1.0 12v envoy and i been told its to do with the induction kit. Vauxhall said they can alter the idleing for £25 cause it has to be linked to the computers and they said that will fix the problem

Yea thats exactly whats happenin with mine i aint got no clue either. mite just take it for a service at blakes or summin. im gonna get a mate to do my wheel bearing i think. Any ideas how much a new wheel bearing costs? or how much a service is at blakes?

mate my car started doing this everymoning, then after i'd floor it down the road,it wuold have no power still, then after about 5mins of driving it would be ok, never found out hwta was the problem as my car got wrote off before i could take it to be checked over

No theres no engine management light on just sounding rough and now my wheel bearings busted my wheel wobbles haha ye gotta laugh. my cars a shed. cheers

My car used to run low idle and sound groogy, was the map reading sensor.

Is your engine management light on?

its the idle control valve , it needs cleaning or relacing. happens with all 1.0s trust me, worst fuckin engine eva made

No it isnt an sxi just a little 1.0 12v thats been nailed everywhere im wondering if its on its last legs and about to die on me but its a t reg so shouldnt be like it is. It realy is running like crap its kind of a joke now do ye think i should just hav rid or give it a chance? im wanting a new faster car anyway maybe a 1.6 sport corsa.

Im havin more problems with it now when i put my foot down it doesnt want to accelerate dont know whats goin on my car gets run regularly it started playing up a while ago but this past few days its got far worse its almost undrivable? This realy needs sorting out should i just take it to blakes or for a service as its due for one now. cheers Gav:o

Disconnect your battery (reset the ECU), then connect up again and see what happens... you may have to sit with your foot on the gas to set the idle at about 800 to 1000rpm.

hopefully it'll be fine then.

when was the car last run since you were trying to start it & having problems?
was it playing up last time it started ok?

What a nice christmas present ay. My car is not starting properly, you have to put your foot on the gas to start it and when its running its only idling at about 100 maybe 200 revs, it also chugs and clicks its not my idle control valve because it was fine a few days ago. Any ideas much appreciated. Merry crimbo.
