i took off the door card, cut the metal rod, fibreglassed the hole in the door card up and retrimmed the doors. | |

i am just thinking of doing this so i took the door card off removed the door pin. On the door card where the pin goes through there is a plastic trim around the hole i was thinking of filling it with filler and colour coding just a cheaper option than the retrim | |

would be piss easy to do, but would look crap with a hole in teh door card so you would be best recovering them thus getting rid of the hole where it used to be | |

The last 2 attempts of knicking my car was from bending the door open and pulling the pin. |
