Got my car finished finally. It still needs lowering, but i have the springs, just got 2 find time to

put them on. I also have 4 widescreen lcds on order for the headrests & sunvisers.

Anyway, all of the kit was sprayed and fitted by my dad & I.

We brought a compresser & spray gun & got the paint from AutoPaint International.

We sprayed all the kit with 3 layers of base coat, the 2 coats of top coat.

We then added 2 layers of laquar.

We only had a day to fit all the kit and the wheels so we started early on a sunday morning, round my

grandmas house as she has a bigger garage.

We put the front bumper on 1st to see what it was goin to look like, hoping the colour was the same.

My dad then got out the angle grider and butchered the arches!

We then started to fix the side skirts and the arches on using some nice clamps.

Then we ended up running out of clamps so we resorted to planks of wood resting against walls, fences &

even my grandads van!

All that was left after it had all dried was to fit my wheels.

The give it a good wash and wax.

Some candy shots

Also a new number plate.

Then i got stopped by the police in less than a week and got told to change the back 1, so i had to get

some normal 1s made.

What do u think?

It was really hard to spray them all in a single garage! I am going to send it in to colourworx nxt summer for a full respray, get it dehandled & smoothed all over. This is stage 1 complete. Need to get the ice sorted then after that the engine with lots of chrome bits!

Seems like a nicejob mate,, looks smart.

As said get shocks with the springs, will save your bumper in the long run. I would say those rear clusters would be better in smoke, but you have already bought them so no worries.

If you mean the 1st lot of photos while we were putting the bodykit on then everything was covered in dust, so it does look a bit dodgy. If u ment the last lot of pictures, it could be because the pictures where taken at 2048*1536. Really does need lowering though. I have took 1 side of the door strips off, just got 2 get the other side off now, takes ages!

man, sweet car
like the idea of the chromed engine, whats the rough price to get the whole down? Although one tip mate - add a few leds or a small neon to the engine bay (towards the bottom) and have it so when ya lift the hood it pops them on. Would look mint reflecting of it all
