I've installed Windows XP Pro but it isnt the Windows XP theme. Its still Windows Classic. Ive gone to properties and XP stlye aint there. It installed proper aswel

what spec is your machine?? as depending on the machines spec decides if XP enables the themes by default, if youve not got a computer good enough, then they wont be available

you can 'override' xp's default settings though, so to get the themes working, but I rekon if they aint there then its cos ur machine aint good enough to use them, so do this at your own risk...


Click Start

Right-Click 'My Computer', and then click Properties

When 'System Properties' opens, click the 'Advanced' tab

In there, click the 'Settings' button under the 'Performance' section (top one of the 3)

When the new little window comes up with loads of check boxes, scroll to the bottom of the list, and put a tick in 'Use visual styles on windows and buttons'

Click Apply, Ok, and then Ok again

You should now be able to select different Themes in the Display Properties

You could also mess about with the other Visual settings in System Properties (all the Check boxes), but I warn ya know, if your machine can't handle it, then it will just run like a 1.2 8v Corsa!

I downloaded Style XP for it, and the themes wont aplly. I just flickers a then dont do nothing I might buy some Ram
