I have Yokohama's on my new 17's. I haven't had a dry day since i got them, so i dont kno how they grip in the dry, but they seem a bit shite in the wet. Might be cos they're new tho

Got Falken ZE512's on mine, grip in the dry is sweet, in the wet a little sketchy at times under quick cornering but I have got used to it now so its not a problem.

i got fulda, they came with the wheels i bought, they are like £80 for 205/40/17 they seem ok, but very easily wheel spun in wet lol, grip on dry is good tho until i turn really tight corners it starts losing it

Toyo Proxes are great on lower powered cars but crap on high powered ones.

i had some on a tweaked TD Corsa a few years back and had no complaints but once i bought the 2.1 corsa and swapped the wheels/tyres onto it the tyres were well scary.

It starded to spin the tyres a 80mph in 3rd gear in the wet!

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD 3 = best tyres out just now IMO.

If they are 539's then they are very good in the dry and even in the wet they slide a bit but it's easily controllable and you can feel them start to go before they do
