is the 1.4 sri engine the same as the 1.4 ls engine

Nope mate. Sri is multi pojnt injection so 82bhp, LS is spi so 60bhp

late sri's were also 16v but yes the sri and 1.4 are both 8v

some are 16valvers i 'think' not too sure someone will have to correct me!

correct as i said late sri where 16v as my mate had one before he got his MR2

just i want a samco hoses kit and mines a 1.4 ls 8v and he sed the kit would be the same for mine as it is for a 1.4 sri would it be right to buy it as it is 114 quid and i have to wait for 6 weeks for it to be deliverd

not being funny mate but i wouldn't pay £114 for some hoses- but thats me.
I think the kit would be the same but i would check with other people off here first

i will mate. somebody put up a link last week about getting some tape stuff that makes ur hoses look like samco hoses. I know its not the real thing but £114 for hoses is alot. i could think of other things to spend that sort of money on. Good luck mate hope it works out for u

fair enough danny boyo but like 16vmarc said they dont do anything so its alot of money to spend just to make ur engine bay look at little better
