My car has just failed its MOT on a new rule that has been added to the MOT testing!!

It failed on that my sun strip (my g force one) was to big!!! How shit is that! had no problems befor!! so i have had to have my sunstrip removed!!

im looking for me new sunstrip now!!! any one know where i can get this one made???

if they come into the area that the wiper swipes then they are illegal but if you put shorter blades on then they can fail you for not having a sufficient enough area wiped

mine was only 4" wide!! but the wiper blades did wipe over them!!

Some times they look alright, some times they dont, depends on the car, the size, the colour etc.

I have one, not very big at all, the wiper only goes about 1/2" onto the sunstrip, may have to take it off, got till next March though and hopefully will have sold it by then (not the way its going now though, will have it till I am 80.)

if the wipes got 20mm over the sunstrip then it fails.

bit shitty really, aslong as you can see out the front window
