The work done on my car was pretty crap. When it went in the first time i had all my arches colour coded, standard front bumper smoothed with the grill cut out and smoothed, the bumper soon cracked where the badge was. The arches were bonded on and all of them come away leaving big gaps. I also had Morrette lights fitted, and he didn't wire the inside lights up because he said there wasn't enough wires, and the lights were pointing in the sky, and he said he couldn't adjust them, so i had feck all night vision
When i had some new bits done, new bumpers etc fitted it was ok but my front bumper wasn't secured well at all, and soon begun to rattle away.
Oh yeah and i had a smoothed boot and he forgot to tell me he didn't fit a solenoid so i had to open my boot from the inside.

C13RSA, panels under the skirts are still green Or they were when they came out the bodyshop anyway.

Daves 2nd attempt at C4 was awful, lights didn't work for ages, all the smoothing cracked etc.

The skirts never came off as they were bonded & smoothed into the car actually.
If you wanted under the skirts sprayed then the whole car would have to have been sprayed, Skirts bonded back on & smoothed in again & another respray to match the colour. Pretty pointless if you ask me.
At least my scuttle panel doesn't look like the himalayas
Iloved my car & was very pleased with the finished result bar a scratch & a few runs, unfortunately no cars perfect

The only thing that cracked on C4 was the astra vents.
Lights didn't work due to picking the car up at the last moment in an effort to make it to Donny.
However his smooth tailgate did sink where the welds were, BUT that was done by Carisma/ Fulfords

Who me? Never thought that of Dex's bodyshop. When i went there to get my spare wheel arch cut out, the spray room wasn't actually a spray room, just a sectioned off area with see thru soft plastic (like u get in warehouses) around a bit of floor.

Ohh yeah, well they are, at crash repairs, filling etc. But there was a lot lot more work involved with the car. The repairs to the A pillar, smoothing of small dents etc is superb, very good (thats what they are good at), but with regards to smoothing a few things (such as rear reg plate hole, scuttle panel built up) they were not very good at all. I dont blame them, its not what they were used to, and i may use them again to respray parts, but wouldn't go to them for more detailed work though.

And still, i got everything done at a bloody good price. £1400 inc respray, damage repaired, kit all fitted, smoothed etc.

never mind

my car was firstly built by dex when it was black, like daimo said, bit shoddy. then dex built it again in its orange form, but i had to redo a hell of alot of it again cos of cracking etc, stripped it back down now and rebuilding it proper from metal work up.
