nah dont really do anything, basically its a resistor that fools the ecu into thinking there is more are going in so if pushes more fuel in, doesnt make much difference, and i dont see how they are any good for the engine.

Not any real info on it, but sounds like a Superchip.
Had one on the punto & got it sent off for an analysis & all that was different was a raised rev limit & boost cut removed not worth £170 I paid.
However it does say that he'll give you a full refund if you're not happy .........

if you want a propper chip then you need to take it to a propper company, superchips are good, they re-map the ecu to gain full performance from your engine. will cost though.

LMFAO - Superchips have reduced the reliability of everycar that i have known one been put on.

My mates also found that occasionally the car stalled on idle.

Correctish, its a resistor that costs around 19p that fools the ECU into thinking that the air coming through the intake is very cold, therefore adding more fuel into the mix. It isnt good for the engine at all.
