no, he just likes living in dodgy roads which arent built properly

kenyon, made an mdf ring for mid to sit in, cut 7cm x 2cm piece of mdf to give the speaker the angle u see by mounting one side of the ring up on the mdf strip. secured this to the door card using fibreglass and filler.

stapled material around the ring, then stretched it across the door card. stapled it in a couple of places on the card to give it some shape and soaked it in resin.

Next stage is where im at now, covering in body filler and sanding down, keep doing this, till i get the smooth finish i need.

unfortunately, mine have to be smoother than that, which is gonna be the time-consuming bit, as mine are gonna be sprayed, not trimmed, to match the install going in the back

misdot, what speakers to you have? cos mine couldnt go like nismo's cos the doors would neeb cutting, so thought i may aswell be different and stick 'em up there instead, and put the tweeters down out the way somewhere!

yeah i only did mine as i was seling the car soon to doing them and i had the cloth left over so quicly did them to make it look nicer to sell

well i got some pioneers in there at the moment but i need to get some new ones as mine aint sufficent enough anymore. what have you got? i was thinking about getting some infinity comps.

used to have infinity's in the front, but focals have demoted these to the back of the car!!! but yeah, infinity's are fookin brill

would u want speakers in the top like mine, or bottom like nismo's?
