too bloody right. A woman cut me up on a roundabout yesterday while she was on her phone. I held my horn down for about 1 minute sitting behind her. She was on her phone. I reported her number plate to the police.

theirs not much the police can do with just the nuberplate, they need proof like a picture or somthing!

"steering with his elbows" what a idiot! he was asking for it!

apparently phones are the cause of some really bad accidents, thats why they cracking down on them i think. but its true you loose half your concentration on driving while on the phone, and even with a hands free kit!

Even holding your fone while your engine is running is goin to be enuf for the pigs to do u over! I totally agree like, its always the worst drivers that talk on fones and it makes them even more dangerous. Fair play

It's illegal to stop on the hard shoulder of a motorway to make or answer a phone call. It's illegal to be on the phone when STATIONERY in traffic. (so how are you supposed to tell anyone you're delayed in traffic!). The standard fine is £30 , but if you go to court it can go up to £1000, or £2500 if you're a trucker! In other words ... shut up and pay the £30.

some people are capable of twon thing at once such as driving and using a fone.

i think its a bot OTT being able to get up to £1000 fine. yes some people are dangerous while doing this but there normally the ones who cant drive anyway!

It starts as of 1st December, hands free kits will be OK, and can be bought for a bargain price of £99.99 including fitting from halfords. It works through your cars speakers, but if you have external amplifiers, then its a pain in the arse!
