Comments recomendations ?

Do people actually use vauxhall dealers to service their car or use other garages to ?

I got quoted £300 for 40k service and cam belt with rollers

i had a full service which was

air filter
oil filter
fuel filter
sparks
oil change in gearbox + engine
brakes


very special price of £65 (oh the joy of having friends in vauxhall)

Just get the parts with trade club discount, and get a competent mechanic (and not some Vauxhall monkeys) to do the work for you...

I paid just over £30 for oil/air/pollen/fuel filters, 5L 10w40 semi-synthetic oil, and 4x spark plugs, all that stuff was about £60 retail, and my mechanic charges me £30 an hour to do the work, so I got my service done for just over £60, using genuine Vauxhall parts, by someone I know and trust with my car!
