If you only want noise then the BFO is a good choice, if ya want performance, an induction kit unless a piper viper kit will lose you power!!! cos of the hot air it sucks in the cone sits near the engine

jst replace the panel filter wit a performance 1, induction kits suck in 2 much hot air unless u purchase a pipercross viper which r a bit on the on the pricey side :-)

Drill the airbox and put a K&N element filter in it. Costs a lot less, sounds just as good and the flat spots are no where near as bad.

Drilled airbox = £0
K&N filter = £40.

I've gone from a K&N, to a drilled air box, to a BFO cone. I'd rate the K&N as the worst. Havent really used the BFO cone yet so cant comment, and the drilled air box is a good idea if u want a tiny bit more performance but not alot of noise. Great if ur on a budget. Saying that i bought my BFO cone for £10 Bargain! Worth a try even if its shit.

i've always used K&N filters, had one on my SRI, loved it, got one on my GSI, love it even more.

BFO cones are loud but they give so many flat spots i wouldn't bother with one (that is from the experience of a number of friends)

as vibrio said, green are good too,

def wouldn't get a BFO cone tho, they are purely for looks and noise, although the K&N on my GSI is louder than any BFO i've ever heard!!!!
