i have a problem,
i have corsa sxi 2002! its about a year old and i've started to notice that everytime i put my foot on the brake there this shitty noise! like metal or summat rubbing together......
is it that i need new brake pads? also is this common for brake pads to wear out in a year??
any help would be appreciated......
p.s also happens abit when i a turn heavy left......

yes, my mate got his replaced under warrenty cos they wore out. get it done asap.

Intresting this,
I have the exact same problem
took it to vaux twice and they said there is nothing that is causin it, and at one stage said they coulnt even here it!!
I will be suprised if they replace your pads under warrenty as that is just general wear and tear of the car,
I am taking my car on the 30th to a garage i have used before, and he knows about the problem, he is going to proper diagnose the fault for me so i can goto vaux and tell them to fix it!!

yes i want thru a set ov pads in the first year! but they didnt warrenty mine didnt think ov askin as i never thought they wud be done underwarrenty! that noise u are hearing is the warrning clip it rubs on the disk when they get low

i went thru a set of pads in under a year and just thot it was shitty pads. god damn, shud got it done under warranty!

mine lasted 25k on my 1.4si had mine on now for 12k and they still have cm left on them easy
