yip, just leave em over night in a warm enough environment...... i.e. NOT outside and they'll be fine.

Still got my smooth boot to do.
Fitted a couple of spoilers to it aswell.
Custom scuttle for single wiper done just needing primed etc.
Havent even started on fitting skirts yet!

When i paint wee stuff.... i usually just fling it all on my bedroom carpet fairly near the radiator.

Dont know what to do with those kinda bump strip things on the rear bumper, whether to get rid of them or not.

Just dont know what'll look best with my flushed boot wiv spoilers on it.

i dont think the front and rear bumper go together due the to line on the rear bumper

thats juts my opionion so dont get upset l:

but looks like they fitted well, and well done for doing it yaself

I know i know. I think i want rid of the lines on the rear bumper....... just thot id see what folks thot 1st.

Dont get me wrong, there are a few wee bits that needed smoothened etc.
Worst being that the fog lights that were provided are too small for the holes!!!

However as a whole....... pretty chuffed with the quality of them even though there from the infamous Desmond.

Nah seriouslly.... will have to fill it in from the back and just smoothen it down or so.
More work but it'll look better i suppose

Quite chuffed wiv my morrettes and brows smoothed together

good stuff, bet you'll feel better about it than if a bodyshop was to do it

i think you should get rid of those srtips on the rear bumper too

how hard is it to fit bumpers? did you have to trim anything down? how does it bolt on?

also if you trimmed it, did you just hold it up and mark it out and trim away?

Better believe it mate.
Get more of a buzz knowing that everything to do with my car is done myself. Much rather do it this way, than spend hundreds and not learning anything at all.

And to be honest, fitting them isnt hard at all providing they are of a relatively good quality.

My rear bumper needed trimming around the inner wheel arch area. Basically the bit that faces on to the rear of the tyre.
Other thing that needs doing is drilling a hole to corespond with the wheel arch screw/bolt to hold the bumper in place. I will be smoothing out the hole for the number plate light and will also be removing those strips.

Front bumper came with two bolts already fibreglassed in place. These bolts sloted into place to one of the holes which was occupied by a bolt to hold the wing on. Simply slots into place. The top mounts on my bumper need holes drilled to correspond with the holes on the car.

Really surprised myself at how easy it is, and how much folks waste on getting bodyshops to fit em. Dont get me wrong, some bumpers of a lower quality may and likely will need altering i.e. extended at certain areas.

And yes, trimming, i just freely cut away to my hearts content until i thot it was right. Never take too much off.... Take the time to keep trying and eventually get it right.
