How much ground clearance is there? I know it'll vary depending on drop and wheel size, but in general how low are they?

I had one. My car was on 17s lowered about 40mm. Couldn't get it off the driveway slope, also caught the bit the gate bolted into, that was about 5" high.

A bitch to fit as well. The bar that goes across the front of the car stops it from fitting. Avenger had one, he made a modified bar to replace the standard one so it would fit. I modded the bumper to make it fit around the bar. Its not a great fit around the grill area either and i found it didn't meet near the arch so good too.

cut up a standard original vaux one, that way it is guaranteed to fit properly, with some smoothing and meshing can make a very nice bumper and at least it will fit properly and it will be individual

Cut the top off a post 97 just above the reg plate so you have the fixings and you know that it will fit and cut up another standard but different type bumper off another make or model and make it fit the top half, its a cut and shut bumper.

I love the merseyspeed front, I'm suprised its not used more - it is the front I will have on my car when I finally get round to doing it (when I get some cash) - So stop talking about the front - I don't want 'too' many people to have it hehe...

P.S. - Wezjax's car makes the front look

Nath you considered that - R&A one? - (I think thats what its called? Helium head has it, Square has it and Claire Richardson HAD it... - would look good on your car being low and all.

Well tbh ure best bet is a carzone front, theyre not done to death as u put it, but have become more popular recently.
I have one and its NO LOWER than the standard bumper, so if yours dont foul the carzone wont. Thats the main reason i got it as its not ott and not too low.

That bumper is mint......... Only problem is i want the kit to be level all around the car so if i got a deep bumper i'd need deep skirts and i cant have that.

Was thinking Steinmetz skirts and front lip spoiler, and maybe just leaving the rear.
