Hi, i'm wanting to buy a corsa b but dont know what kind, what are the bhp of the 1.6 16v gsi and the 1.4 sport? what do i go for?
Any help is appreciated. thanks

earlier 1.6 non ecotec C16xe 109bhp, thew best option.
first ones of the b gsi 93-?

then the X16XE is 106bhp ecotec second best.

yes it is. what comes to tuning its the secong best option, will get nice gains out of it!!

Wouldnt i be better goin for the X16XE ecotec since its a newer car and easier to get gain out of?

Not always, due to emission laws and therefore restricting possible power gains and that!

C16 XE engined GSI is better than the later X16 XE engined GSI the difference aint only the EGR the later engine also has smaller valves, the early C16 XE responds to tuning better than the others but make sure the engine is sound no smoke and you will be laughing.
I been tuning my Early GSI and its probably at about 130BHP at the mo and it feels pretty quick go on get one you know you want it
