with what you have done, its probably about 100bhp, whilst mine is about 108-110. I can do 0-60 in 8.7 seconds. Proved using Garmin GPS. You would not get a look in, could keep up with my dads Focus ST170 up to 80mph, before it started to pull away.

im 20. I am going over as an international student, so i guess i wont be driving anything fancy until i leave university. But i wouldnt mind a Holden barina GSi in silver for when i get out there. Then maybe progress onto a jap power machine, since they are very popular out there.

my 1.4 16v will keep up with a standard 1.6 16v, well it would but it wont now cuz its misfirein at 5000rpm what would cause that, also i cant go round corners cuz my suspension is shit! so really a 1.6 16v would beet it lol!

may be but they were changed about 7000miles ago, fort theyd last longer than that, they are gm ones too

Check the spark plugs are not damaged, if you have put too much oil in the car, the sparks can get messed up. HT leads should be changed with sparks IMO

yeah, when it was runnin propa, not very often, it would easy keep up with the 1.6 16v i recon i may get past one on a long stretch, but then again i may not, neva tried! it was an early gsi i raced not the ecotec

it DOES slow it down because the extra metal on a 17" alloys does weight a bit more, this creates more of a drag on your driveshafts, meaning they need more power to make them turn, meaning that your car is in fact slower

cars like 1.2 corsa's are slow enough anyway, dont let it bother you

BTW - 1.4 16v sport would win, wot a daft question

i have 17's on, yes it is even slower
i dont race like a boyracer
so i dont care what damn car is faster anymore
