I have one of those weeman pictures of myself but i cant upload it as its a stupid GIF file. How did everyone else do it with it changing size or losing quality?
I did it one way but when i tried to use the pic as my avatar it didnt fit properly

open in some software prob, and save as - change format eto jpg

It opens up in image preview or through IE. No option on either to do that i dont think.

just do a print screen of it and go into ur picture publishing thing cut it out paste into a new screen and save as...,jpg

if ya got photoshop - or wotever - open prog 1st - then use the prog to open the file
or do as chaz says

Tried chaz's idea, it goes a bit fucked up after that though, the pic doesnt fit in the avatar box properly.

u need to make it longer in height or sorted in width so it fits better
