on my 1.4 and my dads 1.6 astra, there is like a big rubber o-ring it may need replacing, or the securing bolt may be too tight/slack, has to be just right!

Some people dont know what they are on about.
Right. The dizzy is driven by the exhaust cam shaft on a C20XE. It has 2 prongs which mate inside and when the cam shaft spins it turns the dizzy in time with it. The dizzy can be tilted which adjusts ignition timing. on the part of the dizzy which goes into the head there should be a rubber 'O' ring oil seal which stops oil leaking out of the head at the end of the cam. This seal will need replacing.
