I do remember you

I don't tend to wave at people I don't know very well -- what does she drive?

I brought my Ka to the meet as my other car doesn't have street cred with modified shopping trollies

She walks.

Oh right, well to be honest I'm not sure I'd recognise her after such a brief encounter, but I'll wave if I see someone wave at me

Personally I would have preferred you to bring your Elise -- slightly better car than the Ka Don't know why you think people here don't like them -- it's probably more they don't like being overtaken

Youd need sponsorship and a team of mechanics to keep the punto on the road. My mileage was over 1000 miles per month, which at 8mpg and a rebuild every month (new rings, gaskets, honing etc) Running costs run into the thousands.

The other night I got beat by a BMW 320D on the m25 over 100.

Fitted a carbon airbox yesterday, thats helped a bit, and the induction noise is deafening when you floor it.

...and at the end of the day to spend thousands keeping a punto running. I finally came to my senses and bought a car at least designed to handle well and go reasonably fast altough the elise is now where near the pace of the punto, probably have it 0-60 though 730kg and 130hp
