Hi
Easy question this. Just got an old N Reg Corsa and need to tidy it a bit. The main problem is the bumpers, they arent colour co-ordinated so are just that black (or gray as they are at the moment!) plastic. Is there any product out there that I can get that will return them to there former glory!?! Theyve just faded really badly, especially round the wheel arch. I went up to the vauxhall parts place and the guy told me that back to black wouldnt work and that I could get some sort of paste (that comes in a toothpase style tube) that contains dye and it would then dye my bumpers back. Does anyone know this product, where I can get it (nationally or on the web0 and how much it costs!?!
I know its a lot but any info would be appreciated!

remove bumpers and trim and use a hot air gun for stripping wallpaper on them, it melts the surface and makes them look brand new

oh and it lasts a hell of alot longer than pastes and sprays

Autoglym bumper gel m8...Will work a treat..Keeps my arches jet black...

back to balck will work. my girlfriends bumpers and arches were nearly white and are really dark black now.
silicon spray works well too, thats what i use

Get some of that shoe polish. The stuff that comes with like a sponge. Works mint and stays black for months!

shoe polish ain't that good cause it comes off on your cloths if you wipe past it.
autoglym stuff is what i used. when i bought my car the plastic was really grey, and alittly bit of work with this autoglym stuff took them right back to black 
deffo recommend it.

That autoglym stuff brought them up a treat. But I applied it about a month ago and have just done it again cos they faded a bit (although no where near as bad as they were). Is there anything iI can get to put onto of it to protect it a bit and make it last or is it just a case of applying it when its needed?

i use the autoglym spray, the the gel on top, works lovely and stays like it for months

use a heat gun as earlier mentioned.
This is the only way to keep it black.
Trust me. this is what vauxhall do

What you mean u put the gel on and then apply a spray, or the other way around?

i find the best stuff ot keep the arches black is the jet wash wax at bp garages, i dont use back to black or anything, and mine are black! just jetwash every now and then!
