Hi there...

I've read in a mag that this unit has only one working 10" sub wihile the other is a "dummy" sub anyone have any idea if this is true or not? Also anyone know how this unit performs?!

That is indeed true. If you want minimal punchy bass then go for it. A mate has one in his land rover and it sounds quite tidy in there.

Ud get more bass out of the sub + amp system than the tube.

Anyone know if this enclosed amp and sub any good? And how it compares to the JBL GTO-2000 amp and sub set mentioned above?

The other sub on the BTX-250 is called a 'passive radiator'
