that you can drive around with your under-car neons on without getting pulled? i've been told it's legal as long as you can't see the neon tubes.

opinions please

Nope....if its blue you are impersonating a police officer.

Sounds as if your are talking about internal neons...your not allowed to shine these from your car but the glow is fine.

on the cruise chesire forum (which is down at the moment) everyone says it's allowed.
I also go to the bolton cruise o a regular basis and i see loads of cars going through town centre (where the cops are) with there neons on and i've never seen them get pulled.
Also i have a mate who has neons and she hasn't got pulled either!

Any form of light off shining off a vehicle in any colour is currently LEGAL. neon washer jets blah blah is legal too

BUT the light may not rotate, flash or like impersonate a emergancy vehilce.

You will get pulled with the coloured lights, eg neons (althoung not illegal).

The police can take you to court, and if they WIN the case against having colour light shining off vehicles, then it will become 'stated law' and made illegal.
