i got my corsa on wednesday from a wee garage in the borders, and i was driving it last night, and this light came up on the dash, and i've no idea what it was coz i didn't get a hand book. it was orange and had a lightning bolt in it... and every now and then the power would just go, like when i was going steady at 60mph, it felt like i'd just jumped off the gas pedal. it's a 1999 1.2 sxi by the way! any ideas?! cheers!!

that will be your engine warning light. get it looked at ASAP

Needs to be a Vauxhall dealer unfortunately as they need to hook it up to Tech 2 to get a reading from your engine management system.

Yeah, but it could be a random electronics fault in the engine which would not be cleared/spotted in a standard engine service.

check the fault code yourself rather than pay £25 for someone to do it for you

do a search on fault code, there is tonnes of shite on it
