if you've got an offset of ET45-49 then you shouldn't have to do much arch work at all.... debolting the rear arches is about it on a 40-60mm drop.

they will fit, but ur car will sit quite high, so get it dropped 35-40mm, but then some minior arch work might be needed, oh and try and get et49, 45 max

Could someone please tell me why et45-49 is best for Corsa? Is it for the rubbing reason? Or is it for handling reason?

So more then et 45 will affect handling. But I see on many rally corsa's the wheels are much further out. Have they done other mods to accommodate this setup?

Vauxhall make their wheels to an offset of et49. When you put other wheels that are not made bad vauxhall you need to get the offset as close to et49 as possible. A lot of wheel companys dont make alloys to suit vauxhall so thats why you have to mod your car to have them and even mod the wheels with scimming etc to get them on. Best thing to do is go onto www.pvdnet.co.uk and the wheels they sell are the right offset for a corsa. The lower the offset the more the wheels stick out thats why if you got 17`s with say a 35 offset they would rub cos they ar sticking out under the arch. hope that helps
