french got hatches, thought flimsy they may be, are some of the best handling hot hatches of recent years
mk1 clio 172's are wicked, well built (compared to saxo/106) and have a wicked engine

Exactly how I feel man, this sxi is quite nice for my first car - it's quite nippy compared to what most people get as their first car (1.2 8v's ...) and its modable...
I'm not saying I wouldn't prefere a 106 Gti or something though! Just can't afford the insurance.

yeh thats the only thing at a young age, luckily my dad pays my insurance in his name with me as a named driver
i realise that most ppl cant really afford 2 insure very fast cars

If Corsa SXi's are so shit why do you think every cunts got one? I mean why would every body buy a shite car? French cars are ok until they brake down- Clio 16v, my mate backed out of buying one due to the fact he was qauted over 400 notes for a clutch.
Every one has an opinion on all cars, personaly i prefer 106 GTi's and would have bought one but i would have made insurance company very rich!
Point is that people do like the car and it's very good car for a 1.2.

Corsa SXi... is good at what it is.... easy to mod... not stupidly slow.. looks nice etc..
106gti us a pure drivers car... speed and handling and rally look.
Insurance is obviously more theres almost x2 the power there

I've got a sri mate,was just saying that the sxi wasn't a bad car for what it is. I was after the 106 when i sold my old Corsa GSi.
