firstly can u lot tell me what ur CAT sounds like when its bust does it make a funny noise????
the noise is comin from cat engine/gearbox region undernieth car drives as it should when i change gear sounds like 2 pieces of metal be hit together
worser sometimes than others and driving along theres a kind of droning noise to???? any help appreciated

try using the clutch wen u change gear???

have you checked the exhaust mounts
1 may ave fell off

engine management light is not on an it drives as it should and its performance is still same but when u change gear theres like a few tapping noises from undernieth and sometimes when u back off the accelerater

normally if a box goes it rattles not nocks so may not be that?engine mounts ok anything to do with that?

Sounds like the heat shield has come loose from around the manifold.

yea i had a similar noise,
turned out to be the exhaust manifold heat shield.
