Corb mate, mines just started to show signs of giving up... Like you I have a 55A alt. Ive had my car 3 years since new and only put a REAL system in it 2years ago along with a single Optima in the boot. Recently my altenator has started 'ringing' whenever their is the slightest load on it!! I KNOW a 70A one will fit and I know the 120 Vectra job exists but I dont think it will fit without custom work... Let me know if the 120 will fit as I need to upgrade SOON!

I spoke to them today, the 120A one is listed for a '93-'97 1.6 Corsa. Are the mounting points the same? I also checked my batteries and ones putting out 1013 Amps and the other, 1083 Amps

Two Yellow tops for 130quid

I NEED to get 3 EXTRA batteries in the boot, to power 10Kilowatts of bass. I wanted to know how long my OE alt. would last, and as Austin said, I wouldnt get a decent charge on the extra ones anyway. If i only uprated the alternator, and no batteries, i wouldn't get anywhere near enough power to my amps.
