135mph in 1.5 miles.

Although, i think he has had a LSD fitted, new lightened shell and seem welded roll cage. Should i think it should be hitting low 5 secs 0-60's

Dave's - 2.1L on TBs, full race spec, 0-60 in 4.97; standing quarter in 13.2 something!

Mine; 1.6 on TBs, full race spec engine; 0-60 in 6.04 (figures recorded before it was fully stripped out and fitted with limited slip diff); standing quarter in 14.74 (again old figure).

I expect these times to be a little quicker now, especially as I'm dropping in a Quaife gearbox...

Andys car is pretty much the fastest 1.6 16v Corsa/Nova on the road at the moment. Thats without the LSD etc too And its only getting faster

Quaife kit will be in the car next month Tom. It's pretty much the last thing I need to do to complete the engine package. Will limit my top speed to 124.5mph, but I'll get there a lot quicker It's not cheap, but no dearer than a new set of rims and tyres. The final drive is straight cut, so yes, it's going to be a bit whiney. But feck it, you can't hear anything above the induction noise anyway
