was de burrin a drill and the burr sliced through my glove and cut my index finger, spent an hour in a&e had 4 stitches and 5 x rays taken. cant get it wet 4 48hrs (should b interestin!) and ill need stitches takin out in 5 days time! Got bak to work and they sent me home sayin u cant work like that. Fair enuff but theyre also gonna book me for doin it! Foreman is sayin im stupid for deburrin with my hands wot the fuk else am i gonna use?

funny u should mention that, knocked my front tooth out @ work 3yr ago, got 5250 payout! + i had dental fees for over 1000 and solicitors fees for abt the same which all got paid for!

i feel a new car or a large shoping list of Mods is in order

or just go to the bosses and say look i want "X" weeks off work on full pay as they will be on a winner as paying u to be off will be cheaper then paying your wage and the massive inj bill

Should have just tapped it off.......

I tried to pull a drill bit out of a chuck before and my bare fingers slipped down the cutting edge and zipped me open - that was when i was doing my apprentiship and i was at college - made me cringe seeing the cut.

I have to point out htat if he has been given a copy of a risk assesment and then carried out his work in a way that is not set out in said risk assement then it's his fault and the compnay could sue him
